my daughter tried to purchase online got to payment page entered details and it went straight back to purchase page, so she tried again, luckily she came and told me, we now have 4 payments pending on our bank accounts and no record any where of a purchase, after phoning even they couldn't find any conformation of purchase but could see payments had been taken and it was described as a glitch, some glitch, have been told it will be sorted out but seriously that's some glitch and a very poor web design, it should of come up with an error straight away, when not working properly, still waiting to see payment pending has been taken off the bank account. it took a week in the end before pending payments in our accounts was at last removed, causing quite a bit of stress.really not happy

I bought a lovely cardigan from Joe browns but did'nt look at the manufacturing label and I love all the designs. I later went into a local stockists to look for new clothes only to find that NOTHING was made in UK. I was disappointed that a company with a very English name only stocks items from far away, and came out empty handed. COME ON JOE BROWNS. Time to find some nice British suppliers. I would certainly buy then!

I ordered a gent's shirt for my Son-in-law's birthday. 9 days later when it hadn't arrived I phoned only to be told that it hadn't even been despatched yet so the promise of a 7 day delivery is incorrect. Left me with a problem. I will not be using them again,.

Too bad situation with joe browns at the moment. Ordered 4 pieces and none of them have been received yet. Too long delays and upon calling customer service they say it’s due to brexit and pandemic. One of my order was due for 30th April and they say oh we received 2 but unfortunately we missed yours so you have to wait longer. Not my fault that you didn’t despatch it for me on time. Really poor service with unexpected longer delays. And no one sends any emails to update you on your orders. These are summer clothes which I ordered and looks like I’m gonna receive them in winters so no point of ordering then.

On the plus side I like that their clothing is a bit different from the other stuff you find, but I have 2 issues. One is that the sizing isn't that reliable; I'm normally a size 16, and Joe Browns size 16 usually fits, but I recently ordered some jeans which were way off, sizing wise. I'd probably need a size 22 to get a comfortable fit!!Secondly, the returns system!! Absolutely a pain in the neck!!In the parcel there's a leaflet that says there's no returns label because "their couriers" are "moving to a paperless returns process". Well this isn't true - they simply want the customer to pay for the paper and printing ink!You do have to print out the label, BUT contrary to Joe Browns' claim that "it's still . . . quick and easy to send something back" , no it's not, it's long winded, complicated and frustrating! It took me a good TEN minutes to go through the process. 1. Fill out the Item number - on the reverse of the paper that has the item numbers printed on it already!2. Go onto the internet to the Joe Browns website.Find the returns section. Choose whether you want to return via Hermes or Royal Mail.Next choice, having chosen Royal Mail - do you want to choose Royal Mail or The Post Office???? Having waded through that confusion, you then have to enter your name and address. Then answer questions about the shape and exact size of the parcel.3. You then have to go to your home printer (in my case up 2 flights of stairs), print off the label, seal up the parcel, stick on the A4 size label with sticky tape - and you're done!Really, Joe Browns???? All this rather than just provide a return label that can be peeled off the backing paper and stuck on, job done?Sorry but this is really going to make me think twice about ordering from Joe Browns again, if I have to go through all that to return an ill fitting item!

I ordered the skinny dungarees on a Friday morning and I received them a little over 24 hours later, this despite being told would be 2-10 days. The dungarees are a perfect fit for a size 10. They hug you legs, but let the blood get to your feet. Really are lovely. This is my first purchase from Joe Brown’s. It won’t be my last. Well done.

I love Joe Browns clothes as i am Plus Size and they do a really great range of clothes that aren’t the usual ‘mumsy’ stuff available for big girls like me. I buy through a catalogue and they are delivered by Hermes and we must have the best Hermes deliverer in the UK, because he turns up and delivers at the same time every day. So Five Stars For Both!

I love the designs. I find the fit for me is excellent, but sometimes the fabric for ladies’ wear is not always as I would like, otherwise I would give 5 stars. Still, returns are free if not happy. Delivery is not, however, so that money may be wasted. However, for menswear the fabrics are great, in our experience. A couple of times, I have accepted items that in hindsight, I wish I had returned because of the fabric. In future, I will return all such items, because I think Joe Browns need to get the message regarding quality. If they can provide it for men, they can do so for women. If they continue to go downhill with fabrics, I will revise the 4 stars.Customer service on the phone is super, very helpful, efficient and professional. An asset to the company, I am sure. Some reviewers on here are concerned about cancelled payments showing up in banking. I can confirm from experience that this happens on the banking side but no payment is taken. If you are concerned about it you can call customer service who will chat with accounts on your behalf. This was my experience. Since then I don’t worry about non-processed payments due to web glitches.

Purchased Joe Brown boots for £95 from Very on 23rd November. Less than 8 weeks later they are letting in. Really disappointed with the quality of these boots. I certainly was expecting a lot longer wear from them. I will definitely not recommend them to anyone.

These guys are so professional and spot on on, - just spoke to Maria ref an online order entry problem, sorted in no time, service always available and contacted before with great response, - thank you ! xx

Really disappointed with my latest purchase from Joe browns, I ordered a beautiful 2 in one top back in September, but only recently wore it for the first time. After washing the top, following correct washing instructions, several of the buttons have broken off making the top unwearable, I have made a complaint a couple of times as I have received no response, I'm unsure if the complaints have actually gone through as once I submitted the complaints form, I'm taken straight back to a blank complaints form and received no confirmation that it had gone through.I absolutely love Joe browns clothes they're beautiful and usually really well made which is why I'm so shocked by my latest order, £45 is a lot to spend on an item that can only be worn once.Usually though I can't fault them, the clothes are really unique, can't really find anything similar so I'm reluctant to stop ordering from them, I always get compliments when I wear Joe browns, so I'm sure I'll be ordering again, just feel very disappointed with this one purchase.

After a work friend’s recommendation, I decided to check out the brand last year. Love the designs but had to put a bit aside for a couple of months to afford anything. I bought 3 tops last November, 2 have already been thrown due to the quality deterioration from washing once a week/fortnight and the last one (£45!) had just ripped as I was wearing it! I have much cheaper clothes that have lasted 6-8 years. And while I love the designs, I can not be throwing money away on expensive clothes that only last a year max. Disappointed
